REV. BRENDA L. LEWIS

Senior Pastor

Rev. Brenda L. Lewis is a retired elder of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church. She served in various pastoral roles across Maryland and Delaware, including Bethany UMC as its first African-American Associate Pastor. A Baltimore native and lifelong member of Union Memorial UMC, she accepted Christ in 1990, preached her first sermon in 1998, and answered her call to ministry in 2001.

She holds degrees in Business Administration and a Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary. Known as Pastor Brenda, she is a proud mother, grandmother, and was married to the late Harry A. Lewis. Her life reflects a deep commitment to faith, service, and walking humbly with God.
